Keystone Kids

The Keystone Kids Ministry exists to serve alongside parents in the discipleship and Scriptural training of their children.

In contrast to the popularity of Bible lessons that teach good morals, but make no mention of the redemptive work of Christ, curriculum is carefully chosen to provide a gospel-centered foundation for young hearts to see God’s unfolding plan in Scripture.

Sunday Kids’ Ministry:

ChildrenOn Sundays, during our Worship Service at 9:30, we offer programs for our kids from birth to 3rd grade. Newborns to 3-year-olds can be placed in the nursery at the beginning of the 9:30 Worship Service with our trained, background-checked volunteers using our safe-child check-in process.

Kids, ages 4 through 3rd grade, have the option of going to our KBC Jr. Church with one of our trained teachers. These children will start in the 9:30 service for family worship before being dismissed to Jr. Church before the sermon.  Each week, in Jr. Church, Keystone Kids are taught a truth about God through music, catechism, Bible stories, activities, large group teaching, and small group discussions. There are also take-home resources that match your child’s lesson, giving you the opportunity to take an active role in your child’s spiritual growth throughout the week.

Following our Worship Service, we have age-specific Sunday School classes for ages 0-12th grade. Each age-specific class emphasizes a different aspect of the Christian life, forming a holistic process for a well-rounded biblical foundation.  Our 1st through 5th graders are currently using The Gospel Project curriculum in these classes.  The Gospel Project curriculum guides our children to understand the main redemptive story of the Bible, the gospel, from Genesis to Revelation.

Wednesday Children’s Ministry:

Due to COVID-19, our Wednesday night children’s ministries are currently on hold.

On Wednesdays, children ages 3 to 5th grade, will attend our AWANA program which is designed to instill a confidence in the Word of God.  We aim to teach children the story of the Bible from a wide-angle lens and introduce well-grounded defenses of the Christian faith to their precious hearts. We also leverage the platform of AWANA to instill a habit of memorizing the Scripture.

There is also a nursery available for children younger than 3 for any parents who are attending our Wednesday Adult Bible Studies or serving in another taking place at our facility.
